Farewell Johnny, till we meet again.
You were taken too soon. You barely began to live, but you left an impact on those of us left behind. We will keep you in our memories until we see you again in heaven. We have heavy hearts, but you are in the presence of our Lord. You are the lucky one.

Obituary:
Jonathan Z. Martin, 15, Parishville. Funeral services for Jonathan Z. Martin, 15, Parishville, who died in a golf cart-motor vehicle accident on March 30, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Parishville Fire Department Hall. Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the firemen’s field. Burial will be on his brother’s farm at Southville Corners, Stockholm.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam.
Survivors include his parents, Luke and Rachel Martin, Newtown Road, Potsdam (Parishville); five brothers, Daniel and wife Mendy Martin, Southville Corners, Stockholm; Timothy Martin, Melvin Martin and Nathaniel Martin, all of Potsdam, and Luray Martin, Stockholm; five sisters, Mrs. Michael Ellen Atnip, Baltic, Ohio; Mrs. Robert Emily Hall, Potsdam, Mrs. Luke Dawn Rosenbarker, Potsdam, and Joy Martin and Larisa Martin, both of Potsdam; his paternal grandmother, Verna G. Martin, Bethel, Penn.; his maternal grandmother, Martha Z. Zimmerman, Ephrata, Penn.; and uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was born Aug. 16, 1991 in Parishville, the son of Luke and Rachel (Zimmerman) Martin. He was in the eleventh grade level of home schooling.
He was a musician and enjoyed both guitar and violin. He participated in the publication of “The Boy’s Bugle” magazine produced by members of the Martin family, and took an active role in helping on the family farm where he showed his mechanical inclinations.
He assisted his brother at the Martin Roadside Market at Southville Corners in Stockholm.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and horseback riding and was a member of the Parishville Christian Church.
The "golf cart" Johnny was driving was an old electric golf cart that he rescued, converted to diesel, with a 7hp Hatz diesel that he rebuilt himself.
